We are opening applications for our 3-Month Designer Internship Program and are looking for 25 motivated, creative individuals from the EMEA Region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) who are passionate about design and eager to grow in an online studio professional environment.
This is a structured, hands-on internship with access to a Premium Course of lessons and full Mentorship. Selected interns will have weekly presentations by senior creatives, work alongside our design team on real briefs, and leave with a portfolio-ready body of work.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If you are a recent graduate, current student, or self-taught designer who can demonstrate strong creative potential, this is your chance to expand your skills. We value attitude and curiosity as much as technical skill.
The internship is divided into three progressive phases.
Over 12 weeks, interns move from foundational learning to independent project ownership.
Participate in weekly team presentations and design workshops
Contribute to real design briefs across brand, digital, and marketing disciplines
Receive and apply feedback through structured critique sessions
Collaborate with senior designers, brand leads, and marketing partners
Maintain and develop your personal portfolio throughout the program
Complete weekly homework exercises and a final capstone project
We are looking for 25 candidates who bring curiosity, drive, and a genuine love of design.
You do not need to be perfect! You need to be coachable, committed, and creative.
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a design-related program (Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Illustration, Marketing, or similar) OR self-taught with a demonstrable portfolio
Ability to receive and act on feedback constructively
Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the full 12-week program
Proficiency in at least one industry-standard design tool (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Figma, or equivalent)
Visual awareness and understanding of basic design principles
Portfolio or work samples demonstrating creative thinking (academic, personal, or freelance work accepted)
Beginner experience with motion design or video editing
Basic knowledge of Social Media Marketing
Experience with web or UI design
Active personal design projects, side projects, or social media creative presence
Passion for typography, editorial design, or brand identity
By the end of the 3 months, every intern will have:
A polished portfolio of a minimum of 5–7 professional design pieces
Hands-on experience working in a professional design studio environment
Proficiency in industry workflows, file management, and briefing processes
Confidence presenting and defending creative decisions to stakeholders
A personal brand statement and career development roadmap
12 weekly expert-led presentations (senior designers, directors, brand leads)
1-on-1 weekly mentorship sessions with an assigned senior designer
Real project briefs and work on live campaigns
Structured portfolio development with professional critique
A Certificate of Completion and written reference upon successful completion
Potential for a full-time offer for outstanding candidates
Acceptance into the program comes with mutual commitments. We invest significantly in our interns and we expect the same in return.
Attend all scheduled presentations, workshops, and critique sessions
Meet project deadlines and communicate proactively if you're falling behind
Engage fully in feedback. Design is a craft learned through iteration
Represent BOLD IT professionally in all communications and interactions
Complete all homework assignments and the final capstone project
Commit to the full 12 weeks as it will change your Career forever
Provide clear briefs, structured feedback, and regular mentorship
Respect your time, which means no exploitation and no overwhelming work
Create an inclusive, psychologically safe environment for creative risk-taking
Give honest, constructive assessments to support your growth
Provide a reference letter and portfolio review at the program's end to participants who finished the program
